Our founding pastor Steve Pace is a man devoted to Christ and to his family.  He has been married to Kathy since 1983 and they have two wonderful daughters, an amazing son-in-law, and three extraordinary grandchildren.

Steve recently retired from The Rock, and we are taking our time to find someone who might possibly replace him.  He had a heart for hearing peoples’ stories, challenging them with the truth of Christ, and helping them to understand what it means to live as a disciple of Jesus.

Steve has a Bachelor of Arts from Seattle Pacific University, an MDiv from Fuller Theological Seminary, and nearly 30 years experience as a Youth Pastor.  He was an ordained pastor with the Evangelical Covenant Church and is also a chaplain for Olympia Police Department and Airlift Northwest.  We wish him the very best in his retirement years, and will always be grateful to him for the time and the love he has given to The Rock
